COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course involves learners reading texts for enjoyment encouraging the students to read a large amount of easy and interesting reading materials which are appropriate with their level and interestHowever, they will be guided to choose their own reading text aiming to help them build reading fluency, reading confidence and develop their attitude toward reading. This kind of activities have also a purpose to promote their autonomous learning and master the foundation reading skills of word recognition, vocabulary development and basic comprehension.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the end of the semester, students are able to
·         to build vocabulary
·         to promote reading speed and reading fluency
·         to develop confidence, motivation, enjoyment and love of reading
·         to allow students to read a lot of English at their own ability level
·         to help students get a sense of how grammatical patterns work in context
